Pictured here is the appropriate placement of pants for Kiefer Sutherland, who makes DUI charges look as easy to get as Grammy’s (That’s right, Branjolina, I did just compare your work to drunk driving). I know I am behind the times, as these charges happened several years ago. But imagine that you are watching seasons 1-6 of “24” on DVD currently. If you spend that much time with Jack Bauer, everything is just going to resurface. And like politics, you don’t let any issue rest. Mr. Bauer, you have a drinking problem- you aren’t that good an actor.

As it happens, I am watching the season (season 3) which could very possibly be for the reason he got a public reputation. In season three (no spoilers, as I haven’t finished the season yet) Jack struggles with a heroin addiction which at this point he claims got him to the Salazars, a big part of the Mexican drug cartel. However, looking at little mannerisms and the annoying quirks he makes, one would have to argue whether this was introduced into the series as a means to hide his real life addiction of the bottle.

Sure, anyone could argue the large circles and often pale skin as being makeup for the show, but what about the uncontrollable head jerk and the snorting (seems like I am making a case for something other than alcohol, doesn’t it?) What in season 1 I saw as being hints of deceit to come, I now attribute to drug addiction and possibly alcoholism getting into his work.

Kiefer, may I call you that? Your pants are down, now bend over- your name and/or reputation is F’d for the rest of your life (or until 24 runs out of terrorists to fight).
